Loop Talent has appointed James Dawson as Senior Agent and opened a new Editors division, including Mark Davis (Peaky Blinders, The Crown) and Alex Fountain (The Responder).
James Dawson joins Loop to manage its Production Designer and Costume Designer clients. Previously at Casarotto and Revolution Talent, James has represented HODs with a focus on championing up-and-coming talent. He has previously placed Heads of Department on several HETV, Film and Commercial projects including True Love for Clerkenwell Films, Gangs of London and Noughts & Crosses.
The Costume and Production Designer roster at Loop Talent includes Cathy Prior (Derry Girls), Production Designer Byron Broadbent (Black Mirror, The Corrupted.) and Hair & Make Up Designer Frances Hounsom who is currently working with Steven Soderbergh and Cinematographer Matt North.
Loop Talent’s new Editor division launches editors including Alex Fountain, known for BIFA-winning and BAFTA-nominated Boiling Point starring Steven Graham, and BBC’s The Responder. Also on the roster is established editor Mark Davis, whose recent credits include Gangs of London for Pulse Films, as well The Crown and The Fear Index, both for Left Bank. His other credits include Black Mirror, Peaky Blinders, Sherlock, Taboo, Unforgotten, Doctor Who and Outnumbered.
Jim Page and Christopher CF Chow BFE have also joined the specialist agency. Jim Page is known for editing Disney’s feature film Wormeater as well as BritBox series Murder in Provence, and Lockdown. Christopher CF Chow BFE has worked on award-winning dramas and comedies, including Little Darlings for Sky for director Ian Aryeh. His film The Complex, directed by Paul Raschid, has become the best-selling interactive film ever with rave reviews.Anna Meller (Katherine Parkinson’s Sitting), Anil Griffin (The Lazarus Project, Nicole Lecky’s Mood) and Tom Henson Webb (Screw) also join the roster.
