Location Collective has now opened its new OMA V Film Studios site in Hertfordshire.
The site, near to St Albans has been designed for “a single high-end TV show or feature film looking for a self-contained, controllable studio solution.”
The new site sits with the group’s two other studios, OMA One Film Studios and OMA X Film Studios in Enfield North London.
The company’s Agency business (established in 2007) focuses on sourcing buildings with high film & TV industry usage potential. In 2019, Location Collective launched the company’s Studio business opening OMA One Film Studios and OMA X Film Studios.
The launch comes after the government announced new tax reliefs and business rates relief for film studios.
The new 5 acre site houses 65,000 sq ft of high spec sound stages (1 x 32,000 sq ft stage and 2 x 16,500 sq ft stages), fully soundproofed to industry standard NR25 level, 35,600 sq ft of production office and support space, a power upgrade to ensure the facility can run from renewable stage and house power, a full studio management service and a fully private, secure and controllable site
