Jamie Ingley is joining Kalel Productions as Head of Development and will set up a new development team.

Formerly Senior Development Producer at Lime Pictures, Ingley, who helped develop Dance Monsters for Netflix and Channel 4’s Stand Up and Deliver, will help to drive development and work across Kalel’s entire slate of programmes. He will work directly to CEO Nick Parnes.

The move builds on Kalel Productions’ recent shows, including Undercover: Sexual Harassment – The Truth for Channel 4 with Ellie Flynn, and LEGO-funded Kids Rebuild the Future for 4 Digital with Aisling Bea and Katherine Ryan. Rich Kids Go Skint is about to begin its sixth series for Channel 5 which will TX from January 9th 2023.

Also starting this month is Elliot Moore, who is moving over from Youngest Media as Development Producer. He started out working in Objective Productions’ development team, before moving to Gameface where he helped to launch the ITV primetime quiz Britain’s Brightest Family hosted by Anne Hegerty. Recently he developed Channel 4’s BAFTA-nominated daytime quiz Moneybags, ITV primetime game show Small Fortune and the BBC3 reality show House Share.

He is joined by Isaac Scoulding as Development Researcher, who started his TV career as one of Banijay’s 2019 Brightbulb interns, assisting with development for companies such as Initial and Remarkable. He then moved to DSP as a Researcher, where he worked across both factual entertainment and specialist factual remits.

Jamie Ingley said: “I’m really looking forward to working with such a talented and creative team and can’t wait to begin developing new and innovative projects with them which will build on Kalel’s already strong portfolio.”

Nick Parnes, CEO at Kalel Productions added: “We’re delighted that Jamie and the team are joining Kalel. Their experience and vision will be a huge asset in driving the company’s continued growth.”

Before joining Lime Pictures, Ingley worked for Endemol where he co-created Million Pound Drop and Pointless, BBC and STV where he got the ITV2 comedy panel show Safeword commissioned, BBC One’s Saturday night gameshow And They’re Off and Channel 4 ‘s relationship show Sex Tape. His production credits include Soccer Aid, Big Brother, The Edge, The Dressing Room, Sex Tape and Love at First Lie.

Ingley and the team start their new roles with immediate effect.
