BBC Studios has appointed Elanor Lee as Head of Production for Specialist Factual Productions.

Lee’s career as Head of Production, Production Executive and Line Producer spans 25 years.   She has worked on a broad range of Specialist Factual, Documentaries and Current Affairs productions and co-productions, with partners, including BBC, Nat Geo, Netflix, Sky and ITV and Ch4.  Most recently she has been working as Head of Production at Drum Studios and has also worked with many other indies including Studio Ramsay, Pulse Films and Curious Films.

Lee has also partnered with Mama Youth to train and mentor production talent and is “committed to creating workplace cultures that represent the world we live in.”

Lee’s appointment completes the leadership team across BBC Studio’s new unit Specialist Factual Productions, with Alan Holland as Head of Unit, Abigail Priddle as Creative Director and Suzanne McKenna leading Commercial and Business Development.
