Kids TV industry veterans Marion Edwards, Jodie Morris and Chris Rose have partnered to launch Creative Sprouts.

Creative Sprouts will offer “hands-on creative workshops” to support kids’ content creators looking to develop “standout IP and engage audiences in an increasingly fragmented media landscape.”

The workshops will include project & pitch reviews, creative and commercial guidance and time for open forum discussion and will run both in-person and online for animation and live action content creators from all territories.

Between them, the trio have been involved with the development, production and distribution of some of the world’s best-known children’s brands, including Thomas & Friends, Bluey, Mike the Knight, Bing and Moominvalley.

Marion Edwards previously worked at HiT Entertainment, Mattel and Dreamworks and most recently executive produced the Emmy-award winning series, Moominvalley. Jodie Morris started her media career at Channel 4, before moving on to senior roles at both Beano Studios, and Acamar Films, home of the Emmy-award winning preschool series, Bing. Chris Rose has worked as both a producer and broadcast executive, he has worked for leading commercial and public service companies including the BBC, ABC Australia and HiT Entertainment. Most recently he was VP, Production & Development – Kids & Family at Paramount Global..

On their new venture, they said: “We’re so excited to work together and to share our collective experience and insights. Our industry is rapidly evolving, and content creators often need additional expertise to get their projects off the ground. We believe there is a gap in the market to offer our combined knowledge in a cost and time-effective way. There are some brilliant ideas out there just waiting to reach new audiences and we can’t wait to play a part in their success.”
