Kerry Godliman and Nina Singh are to star as Dalziel and Pascoe in the contemporary reimagining of the British detective series, Dalziel and Pascoe, based on the books by Reginald Hill.

The series centres on the relationship between seasoned Detective Inspector Andrea Dalziel, played by Kerry Godliman (Trigger Point, Spinal Tap: The End Continues, Whitstable Pearl, After Life, Save Me) and the newly qualified, by the book perfectionist Detective Sergeant Paige Pascoe played by Nina Singh (Art Detectives, Virdee).
As UK partner for Dalziel and Pascoe, ITV’s Director of Drama, Polly Hill, and Commissioner and Head of Scripted Comedy, Nana Hughes have worked with BritBox on the series. Nana is overseeing the production of the series on behalf of ITV, and the series will be produced by All3Media’s West Road Pictures (Ridley, Hollington Drive, Blood).

Executive producers for West Road Pictures are Jonathan Fisher, Ellie Birnie, and Ingrid Goodwin. Colette Kane will act as lead writer and Executive Producer.
