ITV has announced key Daytime roles for Emma Gormley and Katie Rawcliffe covering its morning and afternoon schedules.

Emma Gormley will take the role of Managing Director ITV Daytime as she continues to head up the production of ITV’s morning shows, reporting into Julian Bellamy, Managing Director, ITV Studios, and also liaising directly with Kevin Lygo, Director of Television, for the morning slate of productions made by ITV Studios.

Katie Rawcliffe, Head of Entertainment, will be responsible for commissioning the afternoon and weekend mornings schedule.

Emma said: “My incredible team at ITV Studios produce close to two thousand hours of award-winning programming a year, and I am delighted to take on this role working even more closely with Kevin, as we continue to make mornings on ITV a one stop destination for unmissable viewing."

Katie will be joined by Lara Akeju, Commissioning Editor and Leanne Clarke, Commissioning Assistant, to look after the range of entertainment shows from 2pm to 6pm, and weekend mornings, along with her ongoing responsibilities as Head of Entertainment commissioning.

Katie said: “I am delighted to take on ITV’s Daytime Entertainment in addition to my entertainment brief. The afternoons and weekend mornings are a key part of ITV’s schedule and are all currently in great shape. To consolidate Entertainment and Daytime Entertainment makes complete sense and it will be a privilege to work with the best talent and producers across the shows.”
