ITV has confirmed the 11 high potential colleagues who have been selected for its senior leadership programme, Amplify, which this year focuses on supercharging the leadership potential of outstanding Deaf, Disabled and neurodivergent colleagues.

Joining the programme which begins this month, the selected colleagues will get bespoke coaching sessions, leadership sessions and panel discussions with top industry speakers.

As with the inaugural year, each participant on the programme will be matched with a sponsor from the management board as well as become a sponsor themselves to a new entrant joining ITV.

The programme will be held over 6 full days across 8 months and participants will also be given individual coaching sessions across the period. The programme is being led by ITV Creative Diversity Partners, Nahrein Kemp and Sam Tatlow MBE and is being facilitated by Executive Coach Sarah Pickthall.

The selected participants come from a range of different areas across ITV including commissioning, production, news, commercial, marketing, technology and streaming.

Participants from the 2022 Amplify programme include Sonny Hanley, who has been promoted from his role as Controller, Content Services to become the Director of ITV Academy, Enita Kang, Head of Enterprise and Risk and now Chief of Staff in the CEO Office, and Priya Singh (formerly Business Director, Content Supply Programme) who has recently been promoted to Director of Operations, Commissioning and Content, reporting to Media and Entertainment Chief Operating Officer Sarah Clarke.

Ade Rawcliffe, Group Director of Diversity and Inclusion says: “We are excited to be bringing Amplify back, this time for our Deaf, Disabled and neurodivergent ITV colleagues. At ITV we are committed to increasing the representation of senior Disabled talent in our industry, and Amplify plays a key role in achieving this aim.

The entire programme this year embeds accessibility and disability representation into every part of it; from our Executive Coach to our industry speakers. We look forward to raising the profile of our Amplifiers and to see them become the future leaders of our industry.”
