ITV has a new weekend morning line up for 2024, with two new series, from Rock Oyster Media and Cactus.

New to the network is Jimmy and Shivi’s Farmhouse Breakfast, an 11 episode series produced by Rock Oyster Media for Sunday mornings. Hosted by Jimmy Doherty and Shivi Ramotaur, the pair will provide viewers with a show packed with food, family and lifestyle from the barn on Jimmy’s thriving family farm in the beautiful Suffolk countryside – Farmhouse Breakfast HQ.

Also new to the network is The Chris McCausland Show – a chat show format hosted by the comedian on Saturday mornings. This 11 episode series produced by Cactus TV will feature a line-up of celebrity guests. McCausland will immerse his guests in his audio world, with live acoustic performances, and will feature interactive games with viewers playing along at home.

And returning to weekend mornings is Katie Piper’s Breakfast Show, which has been recommissioned for a third series and a double run with 22 episodes, now also across both Saturday and Sunday mornings.

All series will broadcast later in 2024.

Jimmy and Shivi’s Farmhouse Breakfast, The Chris McCausland Show and Katie Piper’s Breakfast Show were all commissioned by Katie Rawcliffe, Head of Entertainment Commissioning ITV and Leanne Clarke, Assistant Commissioner Daytime & Entertainment ITV.

Katie Rawcliffe, Head of Entertainment Commissioning ITV said: “Our new weekend morning line ups on ITV provide a mix of brand new formats and talent, plus a returning favourite. Away from the studio, Jimmy and Shivi’s Farmhouse Breakfast will provide a wholesome start to your weekend mornings; we’re excited to welcome the funny talents of Chris McCausland with his brand new chat show; and we’re delighted to welcome back Katie Piper now across both Saturday and Sunday mornings. Your weekends start with us on ITV.”

David Nottage, Rock Oyster MD, said: “In Jimmy and Shivi we have a warm and entertaining partnership that will light up our screens on Sunday mornings. We know that ITV viewers will take them and the new show to their hearts. We are a nation that loves the outdoors, and this show will bring together wholesome food and lifestyle content inspired by working life at Jimmy’s farm and wildlife park. It promises to be a real treat, with something for everyone… and lots of laughs too!”

Amanda Ross, Executive Producer and CEO of Cactus said: “I’m delighted ITV have given us the chance to produce a third series with Katie Piper, this time across the whole weekend, recognising the success of her Sunday shows last year. We will be able to showcase more of a range of Katie’s talents as Saturday and Sunday mornings will have a distinctly different vibe.

“And I couldn’t be happier to be able to showcase the brilliant talents of Chris McCausland! He’s brought so much to every show we’ve done with him, so we can’t wait to put him centre stage for 11 weeks of fun and live music.”
