ITV’s Head of Entertainment, Katie Rawcliffe, has confirmed Commissioner Louise Major is to step up to Commissioning Editor in 2022, covering Commissioning Editor Lily Wilson’s maternity leave, and that Natalie Rose is to join ITV Entertainment in the role of Commissioner from the start of February.

Major joins Joe Mace, and Kevin O Brien, both Commissioning Editors for Entertainment, and Lara Akeju, Commissioning Editor for Daytime.

Natalie Rose joins the team as Commissioner, also working alongside Commissioners David Symth and Pete Tierney, and Assistant Commissioners Gemma John-Lewis and Leanne Clarke.

Louise Major joined ITV Entertainment commissioning in 2017, and she has worked across shows including Bafta-winning Britain’s Got Talent, DNA Journey, In For A Penny, The Brits, and Bafta-winning Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway. Before joining ITV commissioning, Major produced many of ITV’s most successful entertainment shows including, I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, The X Factor, Britain’s Got Talent, and most recently she took a secondment to Exec Produce Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.

Natalie Rose spent three years commissioning at UKTV, launching new talent Big Zuu with the BAFTA and double RTS nominated series Big Zuu’s Big Eats, along with Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over, and factual hits Bangers and Cash and Warbird Workshop. Before commissioning, she produced some of ITV’s flagship shows including The Voice, TOWIE and I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.

Natalie Rose said: “It is a privilege to be joining the very brilliant Entertainment team at ITV.”

Katie Rawcliffe, ITV’s Head of Entertainment said: “It’s fantastic that Lou is stepping up and we’re very pleased too, to welcome Natalie, in this exciting year for ITV Entertainment.

“We’ve had a strong start to the year so far, it’s great to see the audience growing for The Masked Singer as the word of mouth builds, and we’re thrilled with the response to Limitless Win which launched brilliantly and feels like an exciting new take on the game show genre. John Bishop joining our talent line up with his Saturday night show is a real coup for us. And Dancing on Ice returning strongly and winning the slot is great to see, as we welcome Oti Mabuse onto the ice panel.

“From the Masked Singer and The Masked Dancer to the return of Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway and Britain’s Got Talent, to big events like the NTAs, The Brits, and new shows including Starstruck and Romeo and Duet, 2022 is going to be a big year for ITV Entertainment and I’m delighted we have such a strong commissioning team in place working across our wide array of shows for ITV and ITV2.”
