ITV1 and ITVX has confirmed the details of its upcoming Oscars 2024 programming.

On the night itself, Sunday 10th March, at 10.30pm viewers can join Jonathan Ross live on ITV1 and ITVX for The Oscars as he hosts the “ultimate Oscars party” with a show “bringing all of Hollywood’s action to UK viewers”, where he’ll be joined by a panel of movie-loving stars and special guests.

Preceding The Oscars, ITVX will host the official stream of the Oscars red carpet live show for the UK from 9.30pm, with Ross King broadcasting from the event at the Dolby Theatre in LA.

New, exclusive behind-the-scenes content will be loaded onto the platform throughout the night.

The next day there will be a 90-minute highlights package of the ceremony, airing on ITV1 at 10.45pm on Monday 11th March. Plus this will be available to stream on the ITVX pop up Oscars page.

ITV will be warming up for the big night with a raft of content, kicking off on Tuesday January 23rd, for the global stream of the Oscars nominations live on ITVX . Hosted by ITV News broadcaster Charlene White with Arts Editor Nina Nannar.

From the 26th February a dedicated FAST channel on ITVX will feature Oscar-nominated films from the past, including Monster’s Ball, Winter’s Bone, Adaptation, Bugsy Malone, Black Narcissus and Precious. Also, from Jonathan Ross, is an Oscars special of his Must-Watch Films show.

Throughout the run up to the 96th Oscars, Good Morning Britain, Lorraine, This Morning, Loose Women and ITV News will cover the latest Oscars news and explore the build up to the biggest night in the film calendar.

Bespoke short-form content will also be on ITVX, which includes nominee profiles and features exploring the various VIP Oscars events. There will also be a collection of Oscar-winning and Oscar-nominated films available to stream 24/7 on ITVX including Chicago, Flashdance, Ghost, Henry V, No Country For Old Men, Pulp Fiction and more.
