ITN Productions has announced a series of senior promotions designed to “accelerate international and digital growth, with a focus on the US and new markets, and create a single, coordinated view of globally focused development across the business.”

Caroline Short has been promoted to the newly created role of Head of Global TV. The appointment will bring UK and International factual slates together under her leadership and will “streamline decision‑making” and “align teams across factual in UK and internationally.” Short will continue to run ITN Productions’ base in Leeds.

Georgina Mantle has been promoted to Global Creative Director. In addition to overseeing development, she will play a key role in shaping company strategy, supporting the digital division and opening up new worldwide markets for ITN Productions. The new structure is “designed to maximise scale and speed, ensuring that premium factual, returning series and digital formats are developed and packaged with international audiences front of mind.”

Alongside these promotions, Chris Broughall, Deputy Head of International, who joined the team in November, will continue to drive the international team day‑to‑day. Commissions in 2025 included He Said, She Said: Blake Lively vs Justin Baldoni (5 / Max and discovery+) and Matthew Perry: A Hollywood Tragedy (Peacock, later picked up by ITVX ).

Jeremy Daldry remains Deputy Head of UK Factual and ITN Productions has also strengthened its development leadership, promoting Leeds-based Gorana Jelovina to Deputy Head of Development, working closely with Dan Gilmore, Head of Development. John Keyes takes on sole responsibility for secondary sales and distribution, working with distributors and managing ITN Productions’ back catalogue.

The news comes as yesterday ITN Productions announced senior hires for the new digital division, which will be led by George Cudmore.
