Cloud-based live production specialist MAVIS Broadcast has announced a partnership with ES Broadcast that will see the systems integrator offer the MAVIS Live SaaS-based production platform to its clients.

Under the agreement, ES Broadcast will be able to propose MAVIS Live, an ultra-low latency, cloud-based production platform, as part of its systems integration solutions.

MAVIS Live enables remote production for live events and provides the user with a suite of virtualised production tools including vision and audio mixing, instant replay, talkback, commentary, VT and graphics. Both progressive and interlaced workflows are supported.

The platform is designed to help rights holders generate expanded value and fan engagement due to its ability to publish live content direct to channels including social, OTT, web and VOD.

Announcing the partnership, Patrick Holroyd, CEO for MAVIS Broadcast, said: “We are delighted to partner with a leading name in the broadcast space. ES Broadcast’s ability to supply cutting-edge hardware as well as high-quality system design provides a perfect platform from which our MAVIS Live software can enable a flexible remote production environment.

“With audience engagement high on the agenda, not to mention sustainability and reducing carbon footprints, it’s a great time to be able to roll out our solutions to ES Broadcast’s client base.”

Jonathan Lyth, Group CTO for ES Broadcast, said: “it was important to us to expand our array of SaaS-based solutions – similar to the range of hardware options we offer. MAVIS Live is a highly capable remote production solution especially for mid-market applications and means we can cater for a much broader range of clients and budgets as remote workflows become more prevalent.

“Especially with remote production, it’s about making sure the end user gets the best fit and gives them the flexibility they need to handle different elements of a production from a range of locations.”
