YouTube Originals has commissioned HiddenLight Productions, the production company recently launched by Hillary Clinton, Sam Branson and Chelsea Clinton, to make If I Could Tell You Just One Thing, a new four-parter featuring YouTube star Patricia Bright.
The show features Bright in conversation with inspirational women about the stories and experiences that have shaped their own lives.
Based on the bestselling book of the same name, “If I Could Tell You Just One Thing,” will air exclusively on YouTube later this year. The pilot episode aired in 2019 and featured Simone Biles, Awkwafina and Diane Von Furstenberg, with Priyanka Chopra as the U.S. host. After amassing over 13 million views, YouTube Originals is bringing that pilot into series in the UK with Patricia Bright as host.
Born and raised in South London, the daughter of Nigerian immigrants, Bright captured the attention from fans across the world with her popular YouTube channel, which has also led to features in Vogue and Forbes, and a TED Talk ‘Creating a (digital) seat at the table.’ In addition to Patricia’s main channel (2.9M subscribers), she runs The Break (391K subscribers), providing financial, career and personal development advice to viewers.
