Hera Pictures has hired Charlotte Webber as Executive Producer and Emma Fowler as Head of Production.

Hera is behind the recent film adaptation of Megan Hunter’s The End We Start From starring Jodie Comer and DC Moore’s upcoming daring historical psychodrama Mary and George starring Julianne Moore and Nicholas Galitzine for Sky Atlantic and Starz.

Working closely alongside Founder and Managing Director Liza Marshall, Webber and Fowler will help manage Hera’s forthcoming productions across television and film. Both will work alongside the company’s Finance Director, Rob Harper, Executive Producer, Ron O’Berst and Development Producers Bria Thomas and Arran Shargall.

Webber joins Hera from Mammoth Screen, where she acted as script editor on Peter Bowker’s World On Fire and Sarah Phelps’ The Pale Horse, before producing the final series of Endeavour and later working inhouse as Executive Producer.  Prior to that she spent her early career in a PA role at BBC Studios before moving on to script edit series 1 of Neil Gaiman’s Good Omens.

Emma Fowler joins Hera from Channel 4, where she headed up the production finance team across scripted drama and comedy. Her credits include It’s a Sin, The Undeclared War, and Derry Girls. Prior to Channel 4, Fowler worked at both Sky and the BBC working on series including Riviera, The Tunnel and Fortitude.
