Lime Pictures has hired ITV Studios’ Helen Kruger Bratt as Head of Production for unscripted programming in the UK. She joins in the autumn.
She will oversee production for programmes including The Only Way Is Essex, E4’s series Celebs Go Dating (now in production of its seventh series) and MTV’s Geordie Shore, as well as a raft of development projects for both Lime and its labels including the recently established Wise Owl Films based in Leeds.
Kruger Bratt is currently Executive in Charge of Production at ITV Studios Entertainment, where she has most recently been responsible for the delivery of programmes such as Love Island, I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here and Saturday Night Takeaway. She was instrumental in the rebirth of Love Island for ITV2 in 2015.
Alongside large scale entertainment shows she has worked across Daytime and Lifestyle, Factual, Formats and Quiz programmes, all of which are relevant to Lime’s recently bolstered development team, overseen by Head of Unscripted programming Sarah Tyekiff and Head of Development Nick Johns.
Kruger Bratt will report directly to joint Managing Directors Kate Little and Claire Poyser and will work closely with Sarah Tyekiff across the portfolio.
Joint Managing Directors Kate Little and Claire Poyser said; “We are thrilled that Helen is joining Lime Pictures at this exciting time for the business. We have ambitious plans for the unscripted slate both here in the UK and internationally and Helen’s extensive experience in managing programme juggernauts from pitch to broadcast provides us with the most robust support we could have to reinforce an incredibly strong creative team.”
Helen Kruger Bratt said; “After many productive years at ITV, I’m thrilled to be joining Lime at a time of real creative success. Working under Kate and Claire’s leadership, I’m excited to join forces with Sarah to help deliver and grow the business. I can’t wait to start and meet the team.”
