Hedge has launched DropOff, a new web-based file sharing app for creative workflows.

DropOff allows users to receive files securely into a LucidLink filespace and serves as a platform for sharing any type of files with external collaborators.

Whether sending files from a desktop, external drive, LucidLink Filespace or other S3 Bucket, DropOff “handles the heavy lifting seamlessly and securely” via a shareable download link. Files are delivered directly to a chosen location in a LucidLink Filespace or via a sharable link.

For receiving files from outside, “there’s no need for a dedicated machine for uploading, installing any software, setting up credentials in LucidLink, or being pestered for file access.” Instead, files can be dragged on to a DropOff link, uploaded and shared with any outside collaborators.

DropOff works via a Pay Per as you Use GB model. Topping up GB credits is done on the home page’s interface and data doesn’t expire.

A free trial is now on offer that comes preloaded with 20GB of credits.
