Channel 4 head of Drama Caroline Hollick is to leave the broadcaster as part of Channel 4’s move to slim down by around 200 employees.

Reported in the Guardian, Hollick’s role will be made redundant. Instead Ollie Madden, director of Film4, will run drama commissioning across TV and film.

Hollick has been based at Channel 4’s HQ in Leeds.

Her slate included The Couple Next Door and The Light in the Hall.
