Private equity firm, Goldenpeak, has made a majority investment in media, games and sports sector data and analytics business, Ampere Analysis.
Ampere Analysis offers its clients a comprehensive view of the global entertainment market through subscription-based online services, market intelligence, audience insights and monetisation strategies. Clients include major film and TV studios, technology companies, gaming groups, sports teams, leagues and governing bodies.
Goldenpeak is the first institutional investor in Ampere Analysis and comes as the business is scaling both organically and through targeted mergers and acquisitions. The focus of this investment will be to fund growth initiatives for the business, including the simultaneous acquisition of PlumResearch, an independent data company that provides insights to the global entertainment industry.
