Hire firm Finepoint Broadcast is to invest over £2M in the next 12 months in new kit with a focus on 4K/UHD.
The investment comes in the wake of a “mounting number of requests for 4K cameras and associated lenses.” More Sony HDC-4300 cameras will be on the shopping list.
Along with its authorised Canon accreditation, Finepoint has now also been awarded JVC and Sony SPSS accredited reseller status. Finepoint has also been made the sole distributor for IDK in the UK and Ireland.
Finepoint’s Managing Director, Giles Bendig said: “We see this investment strategy, in Hire and Sales, as the next stage in Finepoint’s great history of supporting the Broadcast Industry, taking us into another 35 successful years.”
