The MD of post house Fifty Fifty, Cara Kotschy, has announced that she is to leave the business after 16 years with the company and ten as managing director.

Kotschy joined Fifty Fifty as a runner in 2004 before rising through the ranks and was made md in 2010.

In a Linkedin post, she said: “At the end of November I’m stepping down as MD in order to craft out the next chapter in my career; a bold strategy while staring down the barrel of the world’s greatest recession. But despite that, after a decade in the seat it feels right for me to make the move.

“In that time we have taken the business from a small 6-suite SD facility with a focus on short-form, to a 20-suite, full post-production, long-form specialist regularly working at 4K and beyond to deliver premium content in Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos; now widely recognised as London’s leading boutique post house.

“I would like to thank everyone that has worked with me as colleagues, clients and suppliers to make our achievements possible during this time. It’s been an absolute pleasure.

“The team at Fifty Fifty will continue to push forwards with plenty of exciting broadcast, SVOD and feature film projects lined up well into 2021.

“As for me I’m excited about the future opportunities that await me within the industry.”
