Factory Studios: The Art of Sound Design

Bright and airy Studio 2 recently upgraded for Dolby Atmos 7.1.4

Factory Studios recently completed the extraordinary audio design for Channel 4’s Paris 2024 Paralympic Games Considering What? campaign. Working alongside sister music company SIREN, the collective created a unique and powerful soundscape to highlight the physical forces that every Paralympian must overcome. The project was one to the first mixes to be completed from Factory’s newly refurbished studio facility in Margaret Street, London alongside other high-profile work for Apple, BBC, Virgin Media, EE and Nike.

Earlier this year Factory Studios completed a comprehensive upgrade to offer Dolby Atmos playback in all six of their audio suites. With funding from Medialease, the new suites all feature Avid S6 cosoles with MTRX Studio units, installed by SI partner HHB and with AKA’s first of a kind rising pods within the VO booths.
