Post house, Evolutions, has expanded its flagship Sheraton Street facility in Soho with the addition of a new floor with 22 additional offline suites.
The new floor also comprises 20 new production desks, as well as soft areas and meeting rooms. All onsite facilities dovetail with Evolutions’ offsite data-centre, which provides a petabyte of Nexis storage and the ability to deploy virtually unlimited remote offlines in combination with any onsite resource.
The new suites will be used across a number of recently announced upcoming projects for Evolutions, with “Celebs Go Dating” being the first project in the new suites. These join Evolutions’ slate of projects including, “Married at First Sight UK,” “SAS: Who Dares Wins,” and “24 Hours in Police Custody.”
The new floor adds to Evolutions’ two London locations, as well as a southwest facility in Bristol. The new offline suites see Evolutions “enter a new phase in its ongoing strategy of investment and growth”, following a major cash investment from specialist SME investment firm, Enact, in January and additional management hires throughout this year.
Simon Kanjee, CEO of Evolutions, said: “We are thrilled to finally announce our new floor at Sheraton Street. It has always remained vitally important for us to keep our facilities at the forefront of the changing media landscape. As we continue to reopen and return to the office, we are witnessing first-hand the buoyancy of the industry, especially the massive production boom we are seeing in the UK, and the ever-growing need for additional facilities. The new floor will allow us to continue our award-winning work and support the flourishing of the industry, in particular talent here in the UK, and especially our clients and staff at Evolutions.”
