VFX company OKAY STUDIO has hired Colourist Ruth Wardell.

She joins from Electric Theatre Collective and will work alongside senior colourist Stef Colosi.

Wardell cut her teeth at The Look before joining Electric Theatre Collective in 2015. Starting in the DMC department, she  was promoted to Colour Assist after  six months before beiong promoted to Colourist in 2019 after winning Best Colourist at the Ibiza Music Video Awards 2018 for Q-Tip’s promo ‘Don’t Go Breaking My Heart (feat. Demi Lovato)’.

She has worked with brands including Nike, Gucci, and Adidas – as well as working regularly with directors such as Bradley & Pablo, Jess Kohl, and Hector Dockrill. In addition to her commercial work, her portfolio includes music videos for Sam Smith, Mabel, and Jorja Smith.
