Electric Theatre Collective has promoted both Alex Carswell and George Blomiley to Senior Colour Producer.

Carswell started out as a runner at Envy and then became VFX Producer at No.8, a role she carried across to ETC in 2022 before moving into grading and working with directors including Daniel Wolfe, Elliot Power, Louis McCourt and Troy Roscoe.

With the eponymous A$AP Rocky, she produced Riot graded by Andi Chu, and with Kelvin Jones and dairy-free-rapper-Giggs, she led a direct-to-brand campaign for vegan favourite Oatly. Another career highlight includes witnessing Colourist Connor Coolbear win a Creative Circle award for an ASOS campaign directed by Duncan Loudon.

Blomiley started out in VFX production at Big Buoy, before moving to Creative Outpost to launch their colour department. Since joining ETC in 2024, he has worked alongside renowned directorial talent across commercials, music videos, fashion and sport.

Among his standout projects: Eusexa and Perfect Stranger with long-time FKA Twigs collaborator Jordan Hemingway, graded by Connor Coolbear, both of which racked up awards. He also oversaw Aube Perrie’s Lost from RM, scoring a Ciclope win for Jason, and Jonas Lindstroem’s Renault campaign, coloured by Luke Morrison, remains an additional highlight. Credits also include My Father’s Shadow? , the debut feature from Akinola Davies Jr – a Caméra d’Or special mention and the UK’s official entry for the Oscars for International Feature.

Longform is an area we’re really delving into”, says Blomiley, who is currently working on an episodic series with A24. “I’m excited about what’s next and working closely with the team to craft great work for great clients.” Carswell agrees: “I’m looking forward to working alongside Alex as we continue to attract creative work of all outputs. The team is next-level and the junior talent rising through is equally impressive.”

Head of Colour Production, Olly Whitworth, said: “2026 is shaping up to be an exciting year globally for the colour team. Alex and George are testament not only to our ambition, but our desire to work alongside great people. Working closely with each other and Colour Producer Renata, they are very much at the forefront of our next chapter.”
