The charitable umbrella of The Edinburgh TV Festival, The TV Foundation, is to launch Changemakers, a delegation of people from across the industry who want to find new ways to get more programmes with climate storytelling at their heart to viewers.

Changemakers will launch at this years’ festival with 10 TV professionals coming together for a year long programme to put climate at the heart of the industry.

The inaugural delegation includes Nial Flanagan a Senior Producer at ITV Daytime, Monica Garnsey an Executive Producer at the BBC, Tim Hancock a Commissioning Editor for Documentaries and Factual Entertainment and Joe Hullait a Commissioning Executive for Comedy both at Channel 4, Kate O’Hara the Head of Development at Duck Soup Films, Tom Price a Senior Development Producer at Studio Lambert, Dani Rayner Director of Marketing Planning and Operations, EMEA at Netflix, Danusia Samal a freelance actor, writer and campaigner, Martin Trickey Group Head of Digital at Warner Bros International and Louise Turner Commissioning Editor for Film Fund at Channel 4 News for ITN.
