Live events specialist Done+Dusted has launched a Saudi office and appointed event production executive Clare Baarda as Country Manager.
Done + Dusted (part of Pantheon Media Group) is behind events including the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, the League of Legends Opening Ceremony and the Kennedy Center’s Mark Twain Prize for American Humor.
Baarda is a “seasoned regional expert with deep experience delivering significant cultural and entertainment spectacles across the Kingdom.” Baarda will report directly to Done+Dusted’s Group CEO Simon Pizey. Her hire signals a “strategic expansion” of the company’s footprint across the Middle East “as demand continues to grow for its large-scale productions, original IP and branded live experiences.”
Done+Dusted already works across the Middle East through its Abu Dhabi headquarters, producing a growing slate of live events, immersive experiences and branded content. Highlights include four consecutive editions of the Joy Awards, the blockbuster Battle of the Baddest Riyadh Season opening ceremony, The 1001 Seasons of Elie Saab fashion spectacular and the Saudi Arabia Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka – a multi-sensory experience for the Ministry of Culture that explores the Kingdom’s traditions, transformations and future aspirations. The team also helmed the E-Sport World Cup closing ceremony, the Fury vs. Usyk heavyweight title fight opener, and two Qiddiya Gaming presentations of the Throne + Liberty drone show and the ZZZ Hoyaverse immersive showcase. Most recently, Done+Dusted unveiled Fame Factory, an original, large-scale, immersive production designed exclusively for Saudi audiences.
Baarda previously held senior positions at TAIT and Imagination Saudi Arabia, and her credits include G20 Cultural Activations, the NEOM OXAGON launch, Bujairi Terrace for Diriyah Gate Development Authority, Ashar Valley for The Royal Commission for AlUla and World Tourism Day for the Ministry of Tourism.
“Clare knows the Middle East terrain inside and out and has seized its explosion of opportunities with unmatched experience and vision,” says Simon Pizey, Group CEO of Done+Dusted. “Her ability to deliver excellence at scale makes her a brilliant addition to our team, ensuring world-class live storytelling that sets the global standard.”
“This region is setting a new global benchmark for ambition in live experiences, and Done+Dusted is world class at delivering on that kind of vision,” adds Baarda. “I’m excited to lead the charge from within the Kingdom.”
Done+Dusted has offices in Los Angeles, London and Abu Dhabi. The partners include Hamish Hamilton, Ian Stewart, Simon Pizey, Melanie Fletcher, Katy Mullan, Guy Carrington, David Jammy and Adrian Pettett. Done+Dusted is part of Pantheon Media Group, WME Group’s unscripted content business.
