DSP’s BBC2 and BBC Scotland show, Designing The Hebrides, is to return for a second series with interior designer Banjo Beale.

Filming is underway on the second series, which will see Beale visit stunning Scottish locations to showcase his distinctive make-overs.

Banjo once again joins forces with his friendly team of tradespeople as they travel across the Scottish islands using their craft skills, energy and creativity to bring his Hebridean design dreams to life. Designing the Hebrides will air on BBC Scotland, BBC Two and BBC iPlayer in 2024.

“Designing the Hebrides takes a resourceful approach to renovating, rummaging for materials and weaving a little bit of magic to deliver designs that don’t cost the earth. Once again I’ll be up against it with wild weather and logistical headaches, amidst a backdrop of stunning scenery and straight talking islanders. It’s going to be my biggest adventure yet!

Designing The Hebrides is a DSP production (a Banijay UK company) commissioned by Louise Thornton, Head of Commissioning BBC Scotland, and Catherine Catton, Head of Commissioning, Factual Entertainment and Events. The Commissioning Editors are Steve Allen and Clare Mottershead. The Executive Producers are Donna Clark and John Featherstone.
