VFX house, Daydreamer, has added a new hire for its production department and has made a senior promotion within its 2D team.

Katie Gillard joins as a Producer after a year in Australia and before then producing at The Mill, Big Buoy & Tag. Having already worked with brands such as Adidas, Nike & Stanley whilst freelancing at Daydreamer, her next move “cements her as a vital part of the growing Production team.”

Chris Allen, Managing Director says “Having worked with Katie in our days as the Mill together, her unmatched positive attitude and unflappable nature make her the perfect addition to our team. Having freelanced with us before, we’re all so excited to have her play a more permanent role in Daydreamer’s future”.

Daydreamer has also promoted Tom Clapp to Creative Director. Clapp joined the creative team a year ago and has worked with directors Gibson Hazard, Dave Meyers & Traktor.

Matt Fuller, Executive Creative Director says “We’re thrilled to have Tom as Creative Director at Daydreamer. He’s a vital piece of our creative leadership puzzle, with unwavering dedication, sharp creative instinct and relentless drive for excellence. His commitment to crafting high-quality, standout work has consistently elevated our projects.”
