Netflix has confirmed it is in production on a UK adaptation of hit series Love Is Blind, produced by CPL Productions.

The original US version of the show, produced by Kinetic Content, premiered on Netflix in 2020. The third season launched in October 2022. The format has also been adapted outside of the US in Brazil, Japan and most recently in Sweden.

CPL also makes dating shows Married at First Sight for E4 and 90 Day Fiance for Discovery.

Love Is Blind: UK will see singles talk to a host of potential love interests without the distractions from the outside world, with the hope of building a meaningful connection.

Once cupid’s work is done, they will propose to their chosen partner and then lay their eyes on their fiancé for the first time. Engaged and back in the real world, as the couples plan their wedding day, they will attempt to add a physical connection to their emotional bond.

Casting for the new series filming later this year is now open for UK residents who are over 18.

The British version of the series, launching in 2024,  will be produced by CPL Productions, a SevenOne Studios company. Executive Producers are Murray Boland, Danielle Lux, Dermot Caulfield and Nazleen Karim.
