CPL Productions has been commissioned by Sky to make a second season of comedy series “Rob & Romesh Vs…”.
In the show, comedians and best friends Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan travel the world and face a new challenge each episode.
The new four-part series sees Rob and Romesh learning to shoot hoops in downtown LA, performing in a real production of Swan Lake as part of the Birmingham Royal Ballet and joining the England Cricket team on a tour of South Africa.
Romesh Ranganathan says: “If you’re keen to see two men set fire to their own dignity for the sake of a Sky One show, you’re going to absolutely love this series”, and Rob Beckett says: ‘In this series Romesh gets a colonic irrigation and a whole button mushroom is released. There’s nothing more I can say to make you watch this show.”
CPL, a Red Arrow Studios company, produces shows including Sky One’s A League Of Their Own, plus new US version Game On!, produced by Eye Productions Inc. and Fulwell 73 Productions with CPL Productions for CBS; and formats for Channel 4 including Old People’s Home for 4 Year Olds and Married at First Sight. The company also has joint venture partnerships with Harry Hill and Romesh Ranganathan.
