Production house Riff Raff has made it to the number one spot for the second year running in the annual Commercials 30 survey, Televisual’s exclusive survey of the commercials production sector that’s now been running since 1993.
Riff Raff claimed the podium on the back of stand out work like Night Creatures by Megaforce for Burberry and VOLT by Rich Hall for VCCP/Virgin Media.
Pulse Films came in second, with Biscuit Filmworks third place.
Riff Raff also took the number one spot in the Peer Poll in which the rival production companies vote for the peers they most admire. Biscuit was second and Pulse Films third.
Commercials producers also vote for their favourite directors, ads, agencies, post houses, editors and colourists as part of the survey.
B & Q Flip from Pulse Films was the favourite ad and Megaforce was voted the industry’s favourite director.
Ellie Johnson at Tenthree was voted the sector’s favourite editor, while ETC’s Luke Morrison was the favourite colourist.
Uncommon was voted top agency by the commercials producers and the Electric Theatre Collective was rated as the best post house.
For the full survey, see the Spring issue of Televisual Magazine, out now. The Commercials 30 will also be published online next week.
