Jamie Oliver returns to Channel 4 this autumn with new series, Jamie Oliver: Together (w/t).
The TV chef will be creating a series of menus designed to be enjoyed with friends, family and loved ones after so long apart.
The series will celebrate meals that bring people together and make special memories. Each episode walks the viewer through cooking a full meal from beginning to end.. Alongside the food, there will also be hacks, tips and tricks to set the scene and create the perfect ambience for guests.
The recipes featured on the show are from Oliver’s new book Together, which launches in September 2021.
Alongside cooking for his loved ones in the series, Oliver will be opening his home to some of the frontline heroes of the pandemic, from NHS staff to delivery drivers, food growers and vital service providers.
Jamie Oliver: Together (w/t) is a 4 x 60’ series. The series will be made by Jamie Oliver Productions, with Executive Producer Samantha Beddoes, Series Producer Katie Millard and Series Director Niall Downing.
The series was commissioned for Channel 4 by Tim Hancock, Commissioning Editor, Factual Entertainment.
Jamie Oliver: Together will be distributed internationally by Fremantle.
Samantha Beddoes, Executive Producer at the Jamie Oliver Group, commented: “We really want this series to help people come together over delicious food and celebrate a moment that we’re collectively going through as the nation starts to come together again.”
Tim Hancock, commissioning editor for Channel 4, said: “There’s nothing better than getting together with friends and family over great food, especially when we haven’t been able to do so for so long.
