Channel 4 has announced Navi Lamba as E4’s Digital Executive.

Working closely with E4 Controller Karl Warner, Lamba will oversee the development and delivery of the E4’s content with a focus on digital and also lead the curation of Channel 4’s teen strand.

Based at Channel 4’s National HQ in Leeds, Lamba will be E4’s key point of contact across the broadcaster’s platforms including the new Digital Content Unit and All4.

E4 Controller Karl Warner said: “Navi is a young, digital first mega talent and I am thrilled she is joining Channel 4. She’ll work side by side with me, bringing her unique voice to E4 and making sure the digital expression of our content reaches as many 16-34s as possible.”

Lamba joins Channel 4 from BBC Three where she is Head of Social and has led a range of major innovations across its social media output and overseen key campaigns for hit programmes such as Fleabag, RuPaul’s Drag Race UK and Killing Eve. Prior to becoming Head of Social for BBC Three, Lamba was the an assistant short-form commissioner for the channel.

Lamba said: “I can’t wait to get started at E4, I’m really looking forward to working with Karl and the team. E4 shows were a key part of my formative years, in spite of the fact that I grew up in Canada, so being able to join a channel that has had such a big influence on me is a dream come true.”
