Canadian visual effects studio Rodeo FX is establishing its first on-the-ground presence in London with the recent hire of Executive Producer, Nina Fallon.

Fallon made her debut at Industrial Light & Magic in San Francisco over 20 years ago and is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

She was instrumental in helping to establish and grow Rodeo FX in 2006 when she relocated to Montreal from the US to be the studio’s first employee and producer. After working on productions with Rodeo FX including The Golden Compass and Terminator: Salvation , she moved to London as a VFX Producer at Double Negative and again as an Executive VFX Producer at Industrial Light & Magic. Her most recent credits include Aladdin , Rogue One, Star Wars: The Force Awakens , The Martian , Ant-Man , and Avengers: Age of Ultron.

“Nina is laying really important ground work toward our goal of growing a bigger presence in the European film and TV industries,” says Sebastien Moreau, founder and CEO of Rodeo FX. “She’ll be engaging with the myriad of projects happening in and around the UK and working to pull Rodeo FX’s creative talents into their production conversations.”

Founded in Quebec, Rodeo FX has studios in Munich, LA, Quebec City along with its central hub in Old Montreal. The studio recently took home two Visual Effects Society (VES) awards for its creature work on Stranger Things season 3 and three Emmys in recent years for contributions to Game of Thrones .

“It’s become crucial to continue fostering our relationships with current clients in the UK while introducing our exceptional services to new clients,” says Jordan Soles, VP Technology and Development, “and we’re really proud to have someone like Nina to fulfill that role.”
