Channel 4 has ordered a second 8-part series of ob-doc Dover 24/7: Britain’s Busiest Port produced by ITN Productions.

This series, the UK Border Force’s operation will be featured in the 8 x 60’ series. Cameras capture officers working day and night, hunting criminal gangs trying to smuggle drugs, weapons and illicit goods into the UK.

The series goes behind the scenes of every aspect of the Port’s critical 24/7 operation and introduces viewers to the teams who keep travellers on the move. “From battling storms and assisting customers, to police emergencies, and now with access to UK Border Force, viewers are given a 360-degree view of the port.”

Dover 24/7: Britain’s Busiest Port series two is produced by ITN Productions for Channel 4. C4’s commissioning executive is Simon Lee, executive producers are Caroline Short and Nicola Addyman, series producer Chris Hackett, production manager Hollie Clark. and the series is edited in-house at ITN Post.
