Channel 4 has confirmed Harry Enfield, Jo Brand and Julian Clary will join host Ben Elton for its upcoming special edition of Friday Night Live
The legendary comedy show ran from 1985 to 1988. The special one-off will kick off Channel 4’s Truth and Dare season to mark the Channel’s 40th anniversary.
Also joining Elton are Rosie Jones, Mawaan Rizwan, Jordan Gray, Ronni Ancona and Sam Campbell with live music from Mercury Prize nominee, Self Esteem.
Friday Night Live is made by Boffola Pictures and Phil McIntyre Television with Shane Allen and Lucy Ansbro as executive producers, Geoff Posner as director and Susie Hall as series producer. It was commissioned for Channel 4 by Tom, Head of Live Events and Commissioning Editor, Entertainment and Phil Harris, Head of Entertainment and Events.
The show goes out on Friday 21st October 9.00-10.30pm.
