Emily Feller has been appointed as Warp Films’ new Chief Creative Officer and will work alongside joint CEOs, Mark Herbert and Peter Carlton, from the end of the month.

Warp Films announced last year they would be joining the C4 Indie Growth Fund and the newly created role for Feller is part of its “ambitious plans to bolster the creative pool of talent within the team.”

Feller  joins from Big Light Productions, where she has held the role of Creative Director since 2017. She has been Executive Producer for all shows in production, including two series of Medici for Rai and Netflix, Devils(season 2) for Sky, Leonardo which premiered globally on Amazon Prime in 2022, for RAI, France Télévisions, RTVE and Sony, and scripted podcast drama, Radioman for Audible UK. Feller will continue as an executive producer across select projects for Big Light Productions. Prior to Big Light Productions, she held positions at RED Production Company, ITV and Hat Trick Productions and has worked on a variety of dramas including Banana, Ordinary Lies, Trust Me and Holby City.

Emily Feller said: “Warp Films channel this creative freedom which I can’t wait to tap into. Mark and Peter have built an incredible company, known for its compelling drama and storytelling, and I’m passionately focused on helping to drive this ambitious growth forward.”

Mark Herbert and Peter Carlton added: “We started the search for our Chief Creative Officer over a year ago and we are delighted Emily is now joining the Warp family. We needed someone with tenacity and huge ambition to deliver on our future plans within the Indie Growth Fund and Emily demonstrated this alongside her amazing creative flair and relationships.”
