Úna Ní Dhonghaíle, ACE BFE (Belfast, Paddington in Peru & Prisoner 951) added: “I was so proud, and deeply humbled, to receive the BFE Outstanding Contribution award last year. One of the great joys of my life was having my beautiful parents and our beloved Ferg McGrath (who sadly passed last year) there, if I could bottle that moment to preserve it forever, I would. Thank you BFE for celebrating the craft of editing, for championing editors and recognising our contribution to film-making. We all work so hard behind the scenes and this visibility is important and appreciated.”
