Federation Stories UK, the UK arm of Federation Studios, has announced the appointment of Beth Warin as new Head of Development.
Working alongside Managing Director, Polly Williams, Warin will be responsible for the company’s international drama production slate. Federation Stories recently wrapped on a 6 x 60’ Chris Lang series I, Jack Wright and has “several high-profile projects” in development with broadcasters in the UK, the US and Europe.
Warin joins from her role at BBC where she was Drama Commissioning Executive, supporting Commissioning Editors Jo McClellan and Gaynor Holmes editorially across their varied slates including Lockerbie, The Night Manager S2, Lions, Virdee, Reunion, The Jetty and The Ministry of Time. Prior to that Warin was at Fremantle backed Dancing Ledge Productions where she held the position of Development Executive. Warin has managed various mentorship programmes with ScreenSkills, ITV and BBC and will continue to focus on nurturing emerging talent as well as working with established talent across the company’s drama output.
