BBC Studios has signed a first look deal with indie Rogan Productions.

The indie, led by husband and wife team James and Soleta Rogan, has entered a three-year deal giving BBC Studios a first look at distributing its programming slate in return for development funding.

The focus of the deal will be on premium documentaries and landmark series.  Established in 2013, Rogan Productions’ credits include critically acclaimed series Putin: A Russian Spy Story.

Soleta Rogan, Managing Director commented: “We are very excited about securing this endorsement and support of Rogan’s output at this key juncture in company growth. Working in partnership with BBC Studios is key to us sharpening our focus on global reach as we continue to deliver high-quality content for domestic audiences.”
