Brown Bob Productions has appointed Daniel Bankover as head of production.

Bankover joins from ITN Productions where, as production executive, he oversaw production on shows including Lost Boy: The Killing of James Bulger, World’s Most Expensive Cruise and six part documentary series Churchill for Channel 5. Prior to ITN Productions, Daniel was production manager at Optomen Television where his credits include Great British Menu for BBC Two.

Brown Bob, led by joint ceos Nicki Gottlieb and Jacqueline Hewer, has become a specialist in rig shows including Inside the Ambulance for UKTV-owned W channel. Other recent productions include three series of The Architecture the Railways Built and Secrets of the Underground for UKTV’s Yesterday and Moment of Proof for BBC One Daytime.

Bankover will also work alongside Rob Dersley who has recently been promoted from Head of Operations to Head of Editorial.

“After nearly nine years I am finally ready to hand over the reins of overseeing production on a daily basis to Dan. He is extremely experienced, fantastic at his job and the missing piece to our production puzzle” said Brown Bob ceo and co-founder Nicki Gottlieb.
