Atomos will launch the Shinobi 7 RX at IBC 2025.

The super- bright 7-inch HDR monitor delivering 2200 nits of luminance is purpose-built for directors, focus pullers, and live production professionals.

Building on the Shinobi II, the Shinobi 7 RX introduces new features, including camera control, touch-to-focus, and wireless video monitoring via the Atomos TX–RX ecosystem.

Shinobi 7 RX supports camera control for Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, Panasonic, Sony (via USB- C), and Z CAM E2 (via serial connection). Its responsive interface allows users to adjust aperture, shutter speed, and ISO with ease, ensuring precision control on set.

With built-in Wi-Fi, Shinobi 7 RX offers seamless pairing with Atomos TX devices or external RTSP H.264 streams, delivering low-latency (under 60ms) wireless monitoring up to 300m.

It is “packed” with industry-leading monitoring tools such as EL Zone/ARRI false color, waveform, histogram, zebra, focus peaking, and zoom.

Craig Harrison, Senior Product Manager, Holdan, commented: “The Shinobi 7 RX is a game-changer for filmmakers and live production crews. Atomos has taken everything people love about the Shinobi II and elevated it with wireless video, touch-to-focus, and multi-camera control — all in a super-bright 7- inch HDR display. It gives directors, focus pullers, and operators the freedom and precision they need on set, and we’re thrilled to bring this next-generation monitor to market”
