All3Media-owned indie, Optomen, is making a number of promotions in its senior team as it develops more talent-led series, factual entertainment formats and reality shows.
Great British Menu and Versus Executive Producer Sarah Eglin becomes Creative Director of the Birmingham office. Head of Development, Eliana Capitani, is promoted to Director of Development and Executive Producer,to develop premium factual series, with a new, yet to be announced, feature documentary coming under her wing. Sort Your Life Out Executive Producer Charlotte Brookes becomes Head of Popular Factual where she will help to create new fact ent series and oversee all Stacey Solomon’s projects including the long running BBC One format Sort Your Life Out.
In addition, Executive Producer Laura Leigh is to oversee the award-winning Olivia Attwood: Getting Filthy Rich series, having already executive produced Optomen’s At Home With the Furys and Olivia Attwood: The Price of Perfection.
Big Brother alum, Colin Whitaker, joins as Executive Producer of an “ambitious”, yet to be announced, 11-part reality series for ITVX.

At Home with the Furys was Netflix’s third highest rated programme of 2023 among adults 16-34 (as of 13th December). Great British Menu is Optomen’s longest running format, with series 18 averaging 2m viewers for BBC2, with a 10% share, outperforming the slot average by 32%.
Sort Your Life Out, presented by Stacey Solomon, is in its 5th series and has led to 11 international versions of the format.
Optomen’s Versus series has included Johnny versus Amber and Vardy versus Rooney.
