Glasgow based Arteus Post Production has made a further appointment to its Glasgow team with the hiring of Tom Povey as a senior audio re-recording mixer.
The appointment follows the recent hire of Baselight Colourist, Tom Cairns at the end of last year.
Povey joins Arteus from The Farm where he has worked for the last seven years. His most recent credits include productions such as Malory Towers, All Creatures Great and Small and The Pursuit of Love. In addition to the scripted projects, Povey has a substantial list of mixing credits on Light Entertainment and Documentary programmes such as The X Factor and Grayson Perry’s Art Club.
“I’ve been lucky enough to work alongside some of the most talented and award-winning mixers in the UK over the last few years, so it’s a really exciting opportunity for me to be able to bring that knowledge and expertise to the post production sector in Scotland,” commented Tom Povey.
“Tom has worked on a wide variety of genres for all the major broadcasters and he has an incredible ear for detail and an intricate way of shaping the sound to best tell the story. We are delighted to welcome him to the team here. I’ve no doubt Tom will be a huge asset to both our current clients and new clients we hope to attract,” commented Ian Ballantyne, Director, Arteus Post Production.
