Argonon is appointing Amanda Goddard to the newly created role of Chief Legal
and Commercial Officer as the production group looks to diversify its revenue streams.

Reporting into Argonon’s global CEO James Burstall, Goddard will  support group heads to drive growth in digital platforms and FAST channels, as well as growing commercial opportunities around the group’s IP, capitalising on the group’s extensive library catalogue.

Goddard’s expertise in co-production and financing will also support the group’s seven
content labels with the majority of Argonon’s shows now being produced via multiple and varied funding sources.

Prior to Argonon, Goddard was Head of Legal and Business Affairs for PACT, providing business affairs advice for production companies. During her tenure, she assisted on the PSB’s terms of trade, collective agreements, industry guidance and policy for productions with the broadcasters.

Argonon spans all the genres and is home to several production companies, fully owned or launched as joint ventures. Key shows include The Masked Singer UK (joint venture Bandicoot Scotland for ITV); Lost Treasures of Egypt (Windfall Films for Nat Geo), House Hunters International (Leopard USA for HGTV/Discovery), The Mother Flip (joint venture Rose Rock Entertainment, upcoming for A&E), Twisted Twins (Like A Shot West for ITV), Dispatches (BriteSpark Films for Channel 4), Hard Cell (Leopard Pictures for Netflix) and Worzel Gummidge (Leopard Pictures for BBC).
