Discovery has signed a four series deal with Indie Angel Eye Media for its lifestyle and entertainment channels.

The new deal consists of one Quest Red series for Vicky Pattison and three TLC shows, including a new series for Olivia and Alex Buckland. Both Vicky Pattison and Olivia and Alex Buckland enjoyed successes for their one-off specials when they launched on the network.

TLC
Olivia and Alex: Happily Ever After (w/t) (7×60) sees the former Love Island duo settle into their first year of life as a married couple. The couple celebrated their wedding exclusively on TLC last year with Olivia & Alex Said Yes, which became the biggest ever show on the channel for 16-34s.

Curvy Brides Boutique (15×60) also returns for a fourth series and double the episode length.  Tucked away in rural Essex, larger-than-life partners in fashion Jo Cooke and Alison Law are back transforming plus size brides-to-be by finding the wedding dress of their dreams.   Last year the series reached 2 million people on TLC.

Quest Red
Vicky Pattison: No Filter (w/t) (7×60) sees the TV star (Geordie Shore, I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!) embark on a journey of self-discovery as a liberated 30-something woman, living life to the full. Her sudden split from fiancé John Noble was documented in TLC’s Vicky Pattison: The Break Up earlier this year.

The fourth series will be for TLC and will be announced shortly.

Clare Laycock, VP Head of Lifestyle and Entertainment Brands at Discovery Networks UK and Ireland said: “We are so excited to extend our production partnership with Angel Eye. Their creativity and story-telling shine through their productions and they are a joy to work with. The Vicky Pattison and Olivia & Alex specials really struck a chord with audiences and we’re delighted that they’ve chosen us to tell the next chapters of their stories.”

Richard Osborne, Executive Producer Angel Eye Media said: “We’re thrilled to be building on our relationship with Discovery and to be working with such great people on and off screen to deliver these four exciting series.”

The deal was ordered by Clare Laycock with programmes commissioned by Charlotte Reid. Deirdre Dowling is the Executive Producers for TLC and Quest Red. Richard Osborne and Jane Dibblin are Executive Producers and Ollie Durrant is Series Editor for Angel Eye Media.
