Goldcrest Post has added Andrew Daniel to its grading team as Senior Colourist working across film and TV projects.

Daniel’s grading career has spanned almost 20 years and his recent credits include ‘Patrick Melrose’, ‘Giri/Haji’,  ‘War of the Worlds’, and ‘Tell Me Who I Am’ as well as a raft of documentaries.

Along with the colour team, Goldcrest has also been expanding its facilities with, in recent times, additional investment to build a third HD mastering suite, new online rooms complete with Resolve workstations, and Sony Z300 HDR broadcast monitors together with additional QC facilities.

Patrick Malone, Goldcrest’s Managing Director, says: “The need to expand both our facilities and talent roster is a consequence of consistently offering the highest possible calibre of grading talent to our domestic and international clients.  Andrew is an extremely talented and versatile colourist whose credit list covers all the genre disciplines. This flexibility together with his widely recognised creative vision and intuitive collaborative approach will ensure he will be extremely busy and we are looking forward to him joining our team not only to help us meet demand but also to introduce Goldcrest to a wider client base.”

Andrew Daniel, Senior Colourist Goldcrest, says: “I’m excited to be joining a talented team at such a prestigious company. It certainly marks the next stage of my career and I can’t wait to start creating and collaborating on future projects.”
