London-based factual and entertainment indie Naked Entertainment has appointed Tom O’Brien as Director of Development.
 
Leading the existing team, O’Brien’s brief is to build on Naked Entertainment’s presence in the non-scripted genre.
O’Brien previously managed development teams at a number of UK independent production companies, including Remarkable Television, Twofour Broadcast and Electric Ray. He has developed shows for ITV including This Time Next Year, The Inspectors Are Coming, and The Weekender brand, for Channel 4 including How Rich Are You? and Party House, and for the BBC including Close to the Edge, Natural Born Winners, and Prized Apart. The new Director of Development has also worked in production on shows, including Alan Carr: Chatty Man, Charlie Brooker’s You Have Been Watching, The Magaluf Weekender and E4’s Party House.
 
Naked Entertainment recently developed and produced extreme make-under show 100% Hotter (10 x 60’) which debuted this month on 5Star. Other recent commissions include family survival show Stripped and Stranded (4 x 60’) for Channel 5 which is currently filming  in Panama, Central America.
