Amazon MGM Studios UK has put the new drama series Capital into development. Co-created and written by Guy Ritchie and Rob Williams; Ritchie will produce and direct. Vice Studios produces.
Ivan Atkinson, Dhana Rivera Gilbert and Marc Resteghini (Jack Tar Pictures) are executive producing; this is the same team currently in production with Guy Ritchie on season two of Young Sherlock.
Capital marks Ritchie’s and long-standing producing partner Ivan Atkinson’s second project with the streamer, Marc Resteghini’s Jack Tar Pictures and Dhana Rivera Gilbert.

Recently announced projects from Vice Studios include Flat Earth, the debut novel from Anika Jade Levy, who will co-write the television adaptation with Sam Zvibleman (Pen15), who is also attached to direct the pilot. Also on the scripted slate is a forthcoming drama series with journalist Pablo Torre about sports ownership, extreme wealth and corruption and half-hour workplace comedy Work Husbands, loosely based on the real-life relationship of leading voices in Gen Z culture, Nate Jones and Ziad Ahmed. The studio is adapting the global video game franchise Payday with Starbreeze Entertainment for television, and also expanding the universe of its signature series, Gangs of London.
